Workplace is meant to provide users with a secure environment that doesn't sacrifice efficiency while you work. As it happens sometimes, computers can become slow to respond, whether it's working with a file or when using the internet.
We've all been in the situation where we've had to close an app, relaunch it, or change settings in order to refresh a sluggish program. But what happens when we're still getting poor functionality? Maybe it's not the app after all. What if it's your internet connection that's slowing you down?
Workplace offers a convenient resource, right at your fingertips, that checks the health of your internet connection in the moment. This feature is designed to continuously monitor your connection to the os33 servers, as well as the Internet itself, to determine where a problem might exist with your connection that could cause slowness or interruption of your work.
In Workplace for Windows and Mac, you'll find Connectivity Status on the left sidebar. You'll know if there's a problem with your connection because your internet strength bars will be grayed out.
Under Connectivity status, you'll find color-coded bars indicating your internet connection strength. The connection details include information about Latency and Packet Loss, which is good data to share with your IT department or Internet Service Provider.
However, just like the weather, your connection could Poor to Good within seconds, so hopefully your internet connection will be back up to speed in no time.
