Workplace for Windows and Mac has resources that provide you quick access to your work, and the help center.
Let’s go into the Search field, where you’ll find everything you need.
For instance, you can find anyone in your organization. Or, you can search for a saved website. And, when you search for company files, you’ll see a small selection of the most recent. To view all file search results, click View All File Results on the Web App, which will redirect you to your search results there. You can also launch the file in an app, view its folder, and share right from the Search window, which will redirect you to the Web App to continue. Or, just double-click to open the file in a local app. Now let’s take a look at Settings.
You can Sign out of Workplace from here.
Settings also shows you what version of Workplace you’re using, and whether or not it needs an update. The nice thing about Workplace is that it will automatically update in the background, so no extra action is required. You can set a keyboard shortcut to bring your Workplace window to the front.
And, you can set Workplace to open automatically at login.
You will find a link to contact support and go to the help center, get logs, that will create a zip file for you to share with support.
To get immediate help, click the ?, where you can contact support and follow up on support requests. Under Get to Know Workplace, you can reactivate the section tours. There’s also a link to our Help Center for FAQ's and other help articles.
To log out from Workplace for Windows, simply click on the red x in the upper-right-hand corner of the window, and you’ll be asked if you want to sign out and and keep your synced files, or remove them from this device.
