Update #1
OS33 will be implementing configuration changes overnight on Monday 7/20 and Tuesday 7/21 that improve security relative to printing. Extensive testing and preparation has been done to make this change as seamless as possible.
If you experience any issues with printing after these changes are made, please contact support for assistance.
The OS33 Security and Incident Management Teams are currently evaluating a new Windows Print Spooler Vulnerability announced by Microsoft last night and its possible impact to your environment.
While there are no known public exploits at this time, the severity can change at any moment. If and when an exploit is discovered, OS33 will follow Microsoft's solution and disable printing.
While we evaluate possible impact, we suggest that you immediately print all needed documents or reports.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, our teams are doing everything possible to minimize the impact of this threat. We will update this article as we learn more information.
