Some Windows users may not be able to sign into Workplace after verifying the multi-factor authentication. In these cases, users would see the following before the session expires:
Which Users are Affected?
This issue is specific to:
- Devices with Workplace for Windows 3.4.7380.14006 or earlier installed.
Solution
Workplace has released a Workplace Updater that will install the latest version of Workplace for Windows on your Windows PC.
- Download the Workplace Updater.
- Install the Workplace Updater.
- Launch Workplace for Windows and sign-in.
You may be required to verify the sign-in by completing the multifactor authentication on your mobile device. - Workplace for Windows may ask you to update again within the application once you have signed in. Please follow the prompts to update Workplace for Windows.
Alternative Solution
In some cases, the issue can persist after installing the Workplace Updater. If the issue persists, we recommend users to:
- Uninstall Workplace.
- Navigate to login.os33.com and sign-in with valid credentials.
You may be required to verify the sign-in by completing the multifactor authentication on your mobile device. - You will be prompted to Download Workplace.
- Click Download and install Workplace for Windows.
- Once Workplace for Windows is installed, you'll be able to sign-in and use Workplace.
