Recommended Checks
Administrators can adjust their access policy to include recommended checks.
- When a compliance check is set as recommended:
- Stronghold will scan the user's device for the compliance check
- If the check fails, the user will be notified to address the issue, however, the issue will not prevent the user from accessing Workplace.
New Compliance Checks
Administrators can add the following new compliance checks to their access policy:
- Unsupported Operating System
- This compliance check determines if the operating system on the device is not supported. Administrators can specify which operating system versions to be marked in the access policy as not supported.
- When the operating system is identified as Not Supported, the check will Fail.
- When the operating system is identified as Supported, the check will Pass.
- This compliance check is added and enabled to the access policy by default.
- This compliance check determines if the operating system on the device is not supported. Administrators can specify which operating system versions to be marked in the access policy as not supported.
- Device is Unknown
- This compliance check displays if the Workplace manager has verified and marked the user’s device as a Known Device.
- When the device is NOT marked as a Known Device, the check will Fail.
- When the device is marked as a Known Device, the check will Pass.
- This compliance check is not added to the access policy by default. To add this check, please contact your Workplace Provider.
- This compliance check displays if the Workplace manager has verified and marked the user’s device as a Known Device.
Folder Sharing Improvements
Improved UI/UX
- Members have been renamed to Collaborators
- Text on the Folder Sharing window has been updated.
- Top-level folders now display a sharing state:
- Any Shared Folder – Displays a list of collaborators.
- Folders only accessible to a user – Displays Only You.
- Non-sharable folders – Displays Sharing not allowed.
- Added subtext to folder headers to communicate permission levels and number of collaborators.
Guest Folder Sharing
- Company Managers can unlock accounts for Guest Users.
- Added subtext explaining why a mobile phone number is required when sharing a folder with a guest.
Company Security Setting Enhancement
Disable Login impersonation by Workplace Provider
Administrators can enable settings to prevent login impersonation (aka proxy access) by the Workplace provider.
- Settings for login impersonation can be set for a specific company and all child companies.
Disable Login Based on Country
Administrators can specify a list of countries at a company and/or user level that will allow access to Workplace.

Miscellaneous Improvements
Simple Sign Out
- During the logout process, the ESC (escape) key no longer triggers the next step.
- Descriptions for handling opened files in a local environment have been updated.
- Descriptions for handling hosted apps have been updated.
Simplified UI/UX for Onboarding
- Font and styles have been updated to improve readability.
- Directions and Information have been updated to be more concise and informative.
- Images have been added to help users complete specific onboarding tasks.
