Secure Browser is a Chrome-based browser that runs on a server in a secure environment in the cloud. Use it whenever you have to work with sensitive company data.
Launching Secure Browser
Your Company Policies May Restrict Access to Certain Websites with Sensitive Information to Secure Browser.
- Open Workplace Desktop and sign in with valid credentials.
You may be required to verify the sign in by completing the multifactor authentication on your mobile device.
- Click Secure Browser in the navigation bar on the left hand side.
If Secure Browser does not start, click Resume.

Secure Browser is protected with anti-virus software, web filtering, and other technologies to secure your work data from a variety of threats, such as:

- Content that is not safe for work
Gain Access to Work If Your Device Fails Compliance Checks
If your device isn't adhering to all the compliance checks required by your company to gain full access to the system, your Company Manager may still allow you to connect to certain websites that can contain sensitive information using Secure Browser. The sites that are configured to open in Secure Browser show a shield badge in the top right of the website icon.
Pick up Work Where You Left It Off
Secure browser runs in a secure data center which means that it can be portable when moving from one machine to another. If you're moving to another device, in the Windows or Mac apps simply click the Secure Browser tab followed by 'Resume' to continue your web browsing session here.
